Is Definitely Having A Movie Week This Week.

I cannot believe how long it has been since I have watched three movies in the same week.  I bet there are loads of others out there who, I don't know, watch a movie every day or four to five a week or something.  On average I would probably say I watch a movie every....two weeks, perhaps...  So three a week is a lot for me.  Years ago, when I was in my early twenties, watching a movie a day was generally the norm!

I watched 'Paul' tonight.  Now I love most movies, but Paul is just amazing.   The character of Paul the alien himself is brilliant, but also add in the talents of Simon Pegg (Graeme) and Nick Frost (Clive) and Kristen Wiig, who absolutely adore as Ruth, and you just have comedy gold.   Paul himself, voiced by Seth Rogen, is just awesome.  He smokes, he drinks, he curses.... I love him.  He is so funny.   Paul is on the run from Sigourney Weaver's 'The Big Guy' after he discovers he has actually been kidnapped by her, and decides he wants to go home.   So he hitches a ride with Graeme and Clive, and soon Ruth also, as they take her along for the ride after she discovers Paul in their R.V.

Apart from Paul's potty mouth and his constant chain-smoking, I also really loved the plot of how they are all chased across the country by government agents, under the command of 'The Big Guy'.   It's basically a British road trip movie, in America....with an alien.   It's just a great film.   And I love Simon Pegg.  He is one of my favourite actors at the moment.   Also, I will have to mention, Paul has a really awesome soundtrack too

So, I also had quite a good day in work today, at House Of Fraser, mostly because I have been busy putting delivery out.  Getting a good look at all the new stuff we have in.   And I have now decided to have an early night to catch up with a bit of Vogue magazine reading, seeing as I haven't read very much of March's issue this week at all.

Thanks for reading.
