Friday 9th Of March.

Can't believe how quickly my two weeks off have flown by.   I have one day left before I go back to work.  Going back to work on a Sunday can be annoying sometimes after a holiday, but at least I get my week next week split up a bit.   I have had a really great two weeks off, and I have done a lot too.   I have managed to 'socialize' more than I imagined, and I am so pleased I have been able to spend so much time with so many of my friends over the past two weeks.  It really has been lovely.

Went out to Tescos today because I wanted to make sure I had plenty of petrol before I go back to work.  Plus I bought my mum some flowers, some pink roses, for Mother's Day.   It's that time again.  Tescos did have a really lovely selection of flowers and I was impressed.  I love roses though they are my favourite flower.  The pink ones are beautiful.  I also treated myself to a can of their own vodka, lime and lemonade, which I am sampling at this very moment.  It's quite nice actually.   Quite nice for a pound anyway.

I have been a little bit lazy today I will admit.   I have been on the internet quite a bit reading a few blogs and being on Twitter.   Although I did do a hoover around the house, so that's something.   Did a bit of colouring, read some more of my Vogue magazine. Then I went out and got fish and chips for dinner, which were really nice.   Fish is 'brain food'.   I do understand it would be a lot healthier if it wasn't in batter.... but everyone is allowed a treat once in a while.

Tonight I watched the movie 'White House Down' starring Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum.   That was very good.  I really love a good action movie.   It had a really great story line and a great cast too.  I am a fan of Maggie Gyllenhaal too and she played a good part.   You can't go wrong with a great blockbuster movie like that.  I did enjoy it.

Also today, my mum gave me a little gift.   Just a little one.   It's a cloth bag for my Ted Baker purse to protect it from getting scratched.  I am so pleased I have one of these now, because if I get my Ted Baker purse wrecked....I am going to be so mad.   So a cloth case is brilliant.   Cheers mum!

Now I am just chilling out and surfing the web for a bit before I go to sleep.

Thanks for reading.
