Making Plans...

This is my second week's holiday, and I am so pleased because it is not very often I get the chance to have two weeks off together.  So I have made a couple of plans for the rest of the week, ok, it is just two plans so far.   But that is a start.

Tomorrow I am meeting up with my friend Jo from work, and I am really looking forward to it.   We have been trying to get together outside of work just the two of us for a little while now but can be difficult for us two because we are practically on the same hours in work, so sometimes one of us finishes work as the other starts, kind of thing.   It is a bit irritating really, but that's just how it is.   Anyhoo, I'm on holiday obviously, and Jo finishes work at 4.30 tomorrow so we are going to meet up for coffee, perhaps some dinner too, and I am really looking forward to it.   I am really glad we are getting the opportunity to do it.

They are my plans for tomorrow.  Happy days!  I have also been speaking to my good friend Misha just today, and we are going to meet up, also for dinner, on Thursday evening.   I'm looking forward to that as well because it has been a little while again since I have seen Misha, so it will be really nice for a catch up with her too.  Two sets of plans ready to be put into motion.   Haven't come up with anything else yet, but there is time.

Moving on to The Oscars, and Gary Oldman won, Yay!!!For playing Winston Churchill in The Darkest Hour.   I am so happy he won.  I do believe he was favourite to win anyway, but you never quite know with The Oscars.   I was also really happy that Guillermo Del Toro won for Best Director too for The Shape Of Water, which looks really good if I am being truthful.   And I am also thrilled that the actress Alison Janney won for I,Tonya.   I was a big fan of The West Wing which she starred in a few years ago.   I always liked her in that.   It was a really good show as always.   Really made up for Gary Oldman.   He is a favourite of mine.

Also watched Star Trek tonight.   Have not seen that in a while either.  It was very good.  I do love Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, and Zachary Quinto as Spock.  The actors are so well matched I think.   I did enjoy it.  You can't go wrong with a bit of Star Trek every now and then.

Thanks for reading.
